Connector for Business Applications Data Formatting Requests

Platform 3.7 adds rawValue property which has the data we need, but the java method getRawValue always returns the value as a String, so it still requires it to be manually converted.

Without knowing the actual type of the column, we can't know for sure whether the conversion is necessary.

We would want either the getRawValue method to be updated to give the data in the proper type, or a dataType property to be added to the QueryMultiBoResponseColumn object so that we know which conversion is needed.

The main problem we are facing is that the getRawValue method still returns the data as a String in Java, and there is no fieldType or dataType property to see the actual type that the rawValue is supposed to be.

Our suggestion for a fix would be to add the dataType property used for Fields and Filter objects to the QueryResponseColumn, so that we can convert the rawValue ourselves.
