Test script of RIT script - suggest that the generated RIT script link can be editable

We just finished a round of web service testing. We have RQM integrated with RIT. It works well, but there was still something confused me.

When export and RIT script to RQM, an RIT automation test script is created in RQM automatically. There is a link created "Open in Rational Integration Tester". I believe it is the link to the script. The link is currently not editable.

When create and RIT automation test script manually, the link is left default, which pointed to RQM. It still works.

So I'm wondering why we need that link. If it also works without the link, can that link just be removed, or at least keep it editable?

Here are some confusion with the link, which is why I want to be able to remove it.

1st scenario:
Create the 1st RIT automation script in RQM by export from RIT.
Copy the above RQM test script to make a 2nd, update the "Test Path" to point to a different RIT test.
Problem: The link generated from exporting will stay the same, although " Do not include links to other artifacts." is selected. When execute the script from RQM, it still execute the 1st RIT script.

2nd scenario:
Create a test in RIT and export it to RQM.
In RIT, delete the test and create it again with the same test name.
Problem: In RQM, we think the test script is already created and pointed to that script with the right name. But the link is changed because it is a new RIT test, although the name is the same.

I think removing the link or at least make it editable will be very helpful.

Thank you.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
