Hi @Shane, that is our concern too, so that action will apply dates for the Work order that matches the criteria you have at the Work Queries section, for sure depend on the number of records this query affects that will be impacted, I like the approach we are evaluating that will provide a List of Work that Match these criteria until allowing those dates to be set up at the Work Order / Task level. Please let me know if that sounds like a good approach we are looking into. Thanks
The current setting required to pull backlog work without dates into the Graphical Work Week application should not necessitate that EVERY Work Order pulled into the module be assigned a Scheduled Start Date. This makes the tool impractical when attempting to only schedule a subset of the existing backlog.
IBM had decided that any Idea that we would not be able to implement in a 12-month time frame would be marked as “Not under consideration”. Because this is a good Idea it did get promoted to our backlog as we didn’t want to lose it. Based on the feedback from customers like yourself IBM will allow us to keep this Idea even if it cannot be completed in the next year and change the status back to “Future consideration” to make it visible to our customers once again.
Hello
Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.
As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our immediate release plans. This idea is important to us and we will be kept in backlog repository. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
Technically we would be looking at a separate backlog list to show the Assignments without dates and allow the user to assign them which would then give them a date
Thanks for issuing this RFE. This might a huge improvement in the value added of the application !!! The scheduler who is anticipating Work Orders assignment needs to have to overall view of all work orders (even if not yet with a date) to optimize the planned jobs...
This evolution will contributes to a deeper effective use of IBM scheduler product.
