Support Self-managed OCP on Azure

Background

Many existing EAM customers especially in EMEA region have chosen Azure as their preferred cloud.

Also, there are many new opportunities for new logos who wants to deploy MAS on Azure.

IBM has announced strategic partnership with Microsoft and AWS to list products on their marketplace and as part of this strategy, MAS on Azure marketplace availability in June 2022. Here's quick link to access this MAS offer on Azure Marketplace.


Also Red Hat and Microsoft have jointly documented supported NVidia GPU on How To: Run GPU workloads on ARO.

These customers especially in Manufacturing industry want to take advantage of MAS > VisualInspection > Computer vision insights capabilities as it is integrated with MAS Monitor and MAS Manage and allows seamless creation of service requests/work orders in MAS Manage to fix defects detected by Visual Inspection.

ASK

Update knowledge center document and do a press release/equivalent marketing to spread this news among BPs, Customers and IBMers annoucing official support of MVI on Azure. Currently Deploying IBM Maximo Visual Inspection only mentions AWS.

Test Environment

MVI deployment on Self managed OCP is verified to be working on OCP 4.10 and OCP 4.12 against the versions listed in attachment in labs environment and is shown to MVI DEV team and Product Manager.
