This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This is somewhat related to idea WX-I-6 for displaying available reservable spaces except this is specifically for the end user rather than a kiosk. Similar to how some modern parking garages show the number of available spaces on the different levels of the structure, this enhancement to the Workplace Services app would allow a user to see all available workspaces in the building to which is currently selected.
If there are multiple floors, then each floor might have a card displaying the floor number the number of available spaces. Since we have added the QR Code Scan to Claim feature, this would be a great accompaniment to further reduce the friction in finding a workspace when you need it. If a user can see that there are 20 available workspaces on the 4th floor, they can just proceed to the 4th floor of the building without making a reservation and they can simply scan the QR code when they find an open workspace.
Companies are struggling to increase office use and removing any clicks and keypresses involved in obtaining a workspace can help in that effort.

Mike, Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we believe that calculating availability for a large number of spaces across a building has prohibitive performance implications. Thank you again for your feedback.
