Aligning Outlook and TRIRIGA reservation delegates

We use TRIRIGA Workplace Services to reserve meeting rooms, and both TRIRIGA and its perceptive applications are integrated with Microsoft Exchange. Since Outlook is the primary tool for calendar management, executives typically delegate access to their calendars to their assistants via Outlook.

In TRIRIGA Workplace Services, Executive Assistants can view their executives’ room reservations under the "This Month’s Reservations" section. However, when they try to click into a reservation tile, they receive a “Not Authorized” message. This access issue occurs because delegation must also be configured in TRIRIGA, specifically within the executive’s “My Profile” record.

The issue is:

  • Outlook calendar delegation can be handled by the end user.
  • But TRIRIGA profile delegation requires action from someone in the TRIRIGA Admin Group.

This creates a bottleneck for assistants who are already authorized via Outlook but still can’t view full reservation details in Workplace Services. To avoid this redundancy, users should be able to see delegated reservations in TRIRIGA without needing additional admin configuration.
