Code Review UI diff using wrong versions for comparison Merged

EWM Code Review effective v7.x is designed to take into account multiple code review cycles info consideration. However the Code Review UI diff use wrong versions for comparison if a file is involved in multiple Code Review cycle. It is of paramount importance for the Code Review tool to present the correct diff versions by default at all times. The reviewer shouldnt need to make version selection correction on the Code Review UI.

As a reviewer, when reviewing changes in a review with multiple code review cycles, when reviewing the diffs of a particular file that has had multiple revisions, the web client incorrectly compares the latest version of the file against the oldest ancestor related to the change sets associated with the work item.

The expected behaviour should be that the diff view displays the latest version of the file against the version of the file as it was in previous cycle (or the newest cycle it was last changed). This is how code reviews work within GitLab, Github, Apache Trace, Bitbucket etc.

Whilst in EWM it is possible for a developer to work around by selecting the correct version for comparison this bug by manually selecting the correct versions, the current behaviour is confusing and unintuitive for development teams.

The EWM RFE Review board looked at this and decided to keep it on the Backlog as an uncommitted candidate for a future release.
