Filter for selection of elements - some elements active for selection and some not.

Description :

Currently we are working with a huge diagram, that has two or three big Part. On each part there are around 200 ports and connections are drawn between the Parts.

Since we have this huge diagram with lot of connectors and ports, sometime it happens that we click on connectors, when we actually want to click on ports and vice versa.

To solve this problem, we propose a mechanism, to select only the model elements we are interested in.

For e.g, there shall be a possibility to provide the model element that we are interested in. And there after only that model element should be available for selection, Rest of the model elements could not be selected.

    Hi,
You can use "Search in Diagram...Ctrl+Shift+F " feature...to filter for the selection of elements.
    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Suneel...
