New Diff Merge Build

The current version of Diff Merge required Microsoft Visual Studios 2005 libraries in order to properly function, specifically in regards to the "Merge Text" option within the tool. However, 2005 is beginning to not be supported anymore by some modern IT departments and cyber teams, meaning that we will lose functionality of the tool due to loss of these libraries.

It would be nice if the tool was modernized and/or built using a more recent library so that full functionality of the tool can be restored for those of us who have no way to acquire MVS 2005.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your inputs, would place this request in our backlog.

To address your ask, I suggest:
Rhapsody has preferences to configure the external test-diff tool, so users can use their own (like beyond compare, WinMerge, etc.)

Hope this will help you to configure.
    Regards,
    Suneel...
