CustomView shall be configurable to show exactly what is defined by the CustomView Criterion

CustomView definition dialog” with “CustomView definition dialog (Feature dialog)

If a Port / Pin satisfies the Criterion defined for a CustomView, it will

a) also shown its owning Part / Action (which can be considered necessary for the resulting diagram to look reasonable)

b) also format its owning Part / Action according to the format defined in the CustomView

This logic based on the owner-relationship is not desirable in all cases.

Example: see attachment_1, which is a screenshot from the test case model, diagram IBD_block_0, where the CustomView “CustomView_Customer” shows the Part itsBlock_1 (with tag value “Shared”) with solid fill, although it does not satisfy the CustomView Criterion (tag value “Customer”).

Therefore, Rhapsody shall be enhanced with the option to activate/deactivate the behaviors a) and b) by checkboxes in the CustomView definition dialog.

Hi, I believe this communication was originally intended to raise a ticket. Although I followed up several times, I haven't received any updates, so I'm assuming the case wasn't created. However, to keep our records clear, I'm closing this communication. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
    Regards,
    Suneel...

    Hi,

This appears to be a defect; please raise a support ticket.
I will change the status to "Need More Information" as a placeholder to track the support ticket.
Once it's created by you, I will remove it from the idea portal.

    Regards,
    Suneel...
