Requesting the Rhapsody API for RPE report generation

1.We currently see one generate report API available for Reporter Plus:

project.generateReport(modelscope, templatename, docType, filename, showDocument, silentMode);

This API generates a ReporterPLUS report for the model.

2.Similarly, we need an API for RPE (Rational Publishing Engine) to generate a report.

3.We have constructed an RPE template to extract model data from Rhapsody and would like to generate a report using the Rhapsody API.

4.The current Publish plugin in Rhapsody can generate RPE reports, but it has a limitation: it does not allow us to pass a customized style sheet to the PDF report.

5.It would be helpful if there were a Rhapsody API for RPE report generation

    Hi Suneel,

    Yes, I am aware of generating the report using the command line. This is one way of generating a report. However, we would like to create a Rhapsody plugin for this purpose. We already have a report generation API available for Reporter Plus, and similarly, we need a Rhapsody API to generate reports.

    Hi Team,

    When we reviewed the Rhapsody 10 release notes, we noticed that Reporter Plus is officially deprecated, with a recommendation to use the publishing engine instead. However, we couldn't find any API for RPE reporting. It would be helpful if you could include API support for reporting in the Rhapsody 10 version.
