No restriction of characters on filtering on string attributes of custom attributes in DOORS Next

Current situation: When using a full text filter or a string attribute filter in modules, then the filter will only take into account the first 512 characters of the string attribute. This behaviour is only true for custom attributes, not for the system attribute Primary Text / Content.
Request: No restrictions of characters in filtering of string attributes of custom attributes in full text filter or string attribute filter in modules.

    "No restriction" is not achievable as there will always be a restriction as to what can be achieved within a reasonable response time with a given hardware configuration.
    We would instead be looking at increasing the current documented limit of 449 characters based of the SQL query capability of the currently supported relational database management systems.

    This behavior has a critical impact on our projects. We create reports and tests based on filtering after custom-dedicated attributes. Maybe there is a workaround, a Widget with complex filtering which allow to filter an attribute with more then 449 characters?

    Based on our analysis, 900 characters would not be sufficient. Our attributes storing the project or platform name, will easily have more than 900 characters. In this case, I propose that minimum 2000 characters should be considered by the filters applied to custom attributes.
