Preface

Sund & Bælt has weekly use of the Maximo Data Loader in context of e.g., 1) uploading labor directly on work orders (WOs) or 2) uploading contractors’ material costs for spare parts and consumables purchased by the individual contractor technician to fulfill assigned WOs. In both cases, PDF documentation for the hours respectively for the purchases at the whole sales companies is directly attached to the WOs and to the MR lines. Works like a charm.

Benefits from having this idea become reality

However, having more than one user to work with the Maximo Data Loader is a very troublesome task to do. The Data Loader within the OpenShift can only hold one secret, which limits the number of users to one. We are five in the Sund & Bælt Maximo team and we need to have access all of us.

Through IBM Support case TS017231468 we have raised the issue. IBM Support has advised us to submit an IBM Idea, which is this one.
