custom expiry date of JSON Web Token to be increased more than 90 day duration

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

IBM has taken a stance to allow a maximum of 90days for the JSON Web Token siting industry best practices based on the following article https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/can-custom-expiry-date-json-web-token-be-increased-more-90-day-duration.

Clients can appreciate that IBM is trying to enforce, however Organizations may have other durations >90 days that they have policies for. IBM should allow for a user defined variable and not restrict the number of days.  Although the technote says automation can be built, this then becomes an additional customization that has to be built tested and supported outside of the product where the product should have these capbilties out of the box.

Agreed. Also, why then can MAS and Manage API keys be set up with any expiration duration, even to never expire, but the JWT token can only be valid for a maximum of 90 days?
