Ability to Modify the MAS titlebar similar to Maximo v7 titlebar.jsp

Modify MAS to have the ability to adjust the titlebar when logging into Manage. Customizations to the title bar could display the logged in user's USERID and/or which Site your Manage profile is logged into by default. It could also display a Non-Production banner to distinguish between PROD and Non-Prod environments. This configuration will allow for better visibility into which environment you are currently logged into etc.. Previous Maximo versions allowed you to adjust the titlebar.jsp to do many of these types of customizations.

    Hello Billy,

    For Manage 8.11, you can set mxe.webclient.customPageHeader to true (be sure to do a live refresh on the property and log out) Upon login you will see the header show up near the top of the page. You can then edit the customHeaderPage.jsp in the maxinst pod to achieve the colors/content you would like.

    Then, you will need to add it to or create a custom archive to deploy: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/maximo-manage/continuous-delivery?topic=upgrade-customizing-maximo-manage

    You can tell Manage to build and deploy the new image, and will see your changes there.

    In 9.0, we will have additional features available in MAS Admin for white labeling and CSS customization that are unique to that instance, allowing for identification between production and non-production.. As we continue to consolidate our UI frameworks in MAS, the ability to add custom data to the header itself (such as current user name) will be more feasible.

    If you find limitations with the 8.11 and 9.0 capabilities, feel free to open another idea.
