To allow Maximo System Administrators the ability to modify the Owner for a Query

Queries are often created by one user and saved as Public. The person who saves the querie is identified as the "Owner' . Changes to the quiey can only be done by the Owner. These queries are then used by other users. If the Owner leaves his postion, there is no ability to modify the query for the other users. Enhancement would be to allow Maximo System Administrators the ability to modify the Owner. This would give them the abiltity to also modify and delete the queries as needed.

Yes, please, this is Query work is frustrating in it's current form.

SImilar issue with users and scheduled recurring reports - we discovered that if the user who scheduled the reports is BLOCKED - for example, by accidentally entering the wrong password too many times. Then, the schedule reports DO NOT get emailed out.

It would be nice to have a "query management" application to handle this. This application would show all queries across all applications and it could include several other functionalities, such as:

    showing the last run time
assigning queries to only be seen by certain security groups
editing queries and running them through sql validation before saving

    Just a few ideas, thanks
