Retain XML attributes (like id, value) and XML comments (<!-- -->) when upgrading mobile apps using MAF Tools

When using the "Migrate Prior Configurations" feature of "Application Configuration" (erstwhile MAF tool), it does not retain the XML attribute positions and XML comments (tested in MAS 9.1.5)

Example of a simple change in app.xml:

Before Upgrade:

After Upgrade:

<state id="a1_v737k" name="tgScanLookupEnabled" type="boolean" value="true"/>
<state id="a1_xaq_w" name="tgScanListPgEnabled" type="boolean" value="true"/>

Enhancement Request:

Request to enhance the "delta file creation" and "Migrate Prior Configurations", such that it retains the original XML comments and any attribute positions, to avoid appearing them as "changes" in "git history"

    This is a great request. This will also allow the developer to do an actual compare of the upgraded XML and have only the differences display vs having all lines of code display as differences.
