Database Backup - Advanced Point in Time Restore Capability Required

MAS SaaS Premium offering will require near real time database backup with point in time restore capability or a shorter window ~15 mins.

Per IBM documentation the current database backup is scheduled for once a day. However, Maximo is our tier-1 application which is integrated with several other key systems such as outage management, ERP etc. In case of an unforeseen event, we cannot afford to lose 24 hours’ worth data. This will have downstream impact with other integrated systems as well causing significant manual effort and disrupt business continuity.  

Most other key tier-1 enterprise applications, specifically SaaS applications have point in time restore capability or a much shorter window ~15 mins.
