Hi Michael, Thanks for the clarification. I've linked this request to our backlog item for federated IDP support. This is a candidate for a future generally available (GA) release. Our aim is to deliver within the next 12-18 months.

Hi Andrew,
We had a case opened with support as we had an issue where the customer provided IdP XML would import, but MAS would produce an error. The outcome was the customer provided IdP has a root element of
<md:EntitiesDescriptor
as they can provide one or more entities. Here is the commenst from development
===================
MAS is expecting to have a single descriptor as the root XML element:
<md:EntityDescriptor
The file used by the customer has as root element:
<md:EntitiesDescriptor
==================
After some research it seems that this is a supported descriptor with SAML 2.0 that MAS does not support and should support in the future.
Hope this helps
