This would be a nice feature to have so the app doesn't have to be configured to accomplish this functionality, it could be done via Security group security option and be consistent with the way Work Center SR handles this field.

Asset Manager (RBA) - Specification attributes should have a domain lookup if one is available

When you have gone to the effort of setting up domain values for attributes where there should be a restricted set of values, then you want that also to appear on your mobile application. Date fields should also have a date lookup.

The asset number doesn't always differentiate one physical asset from another, the asset number isn't always on the nameplate of the asset, serial number or tag number are used.
