This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

The business need for this idea is as follows:
VxWorks has been updated more than once since the original documentation has been written. We are now at version 7 and there are a host of new features which have been implemented, whereas the documentation is very skimpy and only shows a few small possible integration activity.
We want to use both Rhapsody and VxWorks (also in an ARINC 653 configuration, and explore the potentiality for multi core application as well) in a DevSecOps pipelined development in conjunction with the Real Time Operating System options, as previously mentioned.
It would be greatly helpful therefore to have some documentation - and possibly examples as well - which might help in setting up a VxWorks project and one or more Rhapsody model, either in SysML or UML, with the aim of generating code for a target platform. It would be helpful if there were explanations on the possibiy different way of working with VxWorks 7, for the standard version, the multicore extension and the ARINC 653 version.
The target could be either the WindRiver SIMIC simulator or a real board. How to debug the model code would be helpful as well.
