Export out tables views in Rhapsody through the RMM API

Currently you can't nicely export out table views on the module explorer through the RMM API onto a document. This is important as this reduces the automation of generating customer documents through document builder.

    Thank you for submitting idea. IBM Engineering team review board evaluated this request and determined it will need additional details to evaluate this request. Could you provide us with the sample PUB template used to generate requested output and sample XML API output? It would be also nice to share sample how generated output looks today and how would you like to be.

    Hi,

    After conducting an internal investigation, it appears that the issue lies with PUB, as it is unable to convert an XML table into a Word table.
    I have informed PUB's PM about this. Therefore, we recommend that this issue be reassigned to PUB.

    Hi,

    We have an internal meeting with the development team, and I have a few questions for you:

    1. What exactly does "RMM API" refer to in this context? Is it related to a UI interaction, a REST API, or something else?

    2. What type of document do you need to generate from the table? Are you looking for an image, or do you need it in a different format?

    Additionally, there’s an option to run Reporter Builder directly from the RMM/EWM UI, which would require the creation of a PUB template (.dta). Would this solution work for your needs?
