This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Behaviour of DOORS ReqIF-Import is not user-friendly. It leads the user to wrong assumptions.
Two things:
Supplier is not getting a report telling that this newly imported e.g. data could not be merged in mode 'Lock data'.
You can even use even the same ReqIF-Definition.
Further dialog about 'ReqIF Definition Imports' the column for 'Merge Status' is indicating 'Required'!
This is in my opinion wrong in case 'Lock data'. It should be 'Not Possible'.
Button for 'Merge' is active and can be started.
After starting Merge no Report appears that merge is not possible or that nothing done.
-> No information again.
It tells: 'Completed'.
Conclusion: A supplier has no knowledge about ReqIF-Content and shall identify manufacturer's mistake during creation of data. And then this supplier has to teach the manufacturer how to create a correct ReqIF-File.
