Simplify the UI for delivering change sets to configurations, when the change sets include many changes but very few of the changes conflict with the content of the target configuration.

DOORS Next currently includes an option for delivering a change set and automatically resolving changes that do not collide with the contents of the target configuration.  However, if EVEN ONE of the artifacts in the change set includes a collision with other changes in the base configuration, ALL of the change set's artifacts will appear in the change resolution UI.  There is a follow-on (but somewhat hidden) UI action for automatically resolving the changes that do not collide and reducing the items listed in the change resolution UI to show only the artifacts that have legitimate collisions.  Customers need to be trained to identify this action, because it is not obvious.  Until customers discover this option, it can be quite frustrating to be presented with a UI that presents 100s, 1000s, or even 10,000s of change set artifacts (big changes result from GEARS and pure::variants transformations!), when you know that only a very small number need to be changed.  Further, having to select this follow-on action extends the change set delivery workflow needlessly.

Here is the requested change:

Upon selecting the "Automatically merge where possible" option for change set delivery, DOORS Next shall automatically merge all requirements with non-conflicting attribute-level changes. Any resulting UI will list all such requirements as “resolved” . The “unresolved” section of a UI will show only the requirements that could not be merged automatically and which legitimately require human intervention to resolve.

If we should decide to not make the above behavior automatic, I suggest we add an easily identifiable, selectable option to enable this behavior.  We want to ensure that customers have the ability to opt out of being presented with the current UI resolution screen filled with a multitude of artifacts yet to be resolved -- when most of those collisions can be resolved automatically -- should they wish to not see all that clutter.
