DNG - Pre-condition: To deliver Change set to the stream, change sets must be linked to an approved change request or work it

For tracking requirement changes from RTC-CCM side, we would like to set change set to be mandatory linked to work-item or change request in CCM, but now there is a Pre-condition, the change request / work-item to be in approved state before delivering the change-set. Anyway we review our RM artifacts in DNG separately, and one more approval from CCM side for the RM artifact changes, which tracks the changes in CCM via Change request or work-items is not really worth for our product-line. So could you please re-check this precondition instead of work-item or change request in approved before delivering the change set, just check there should be a link to work item or change-set but it shoud not check whether it is in approved state or not.

    IMHO ....there should be 3 options for the stream

    1) Must use Change Set (CS)

    2) CS Must be linked to a WI to deliver CS

    2b) WI must be approved before can deliver CS.


    Note: Additional useful enhancement.....a newly created stream should inherit these settings listed above from the parent stream it was created from.....not default to none.

    Attachment (Description): The condition mentioned in the attached file has to be re-checked, it request to remove the approved change request or work-item condition, and expecting a work-item or change request without approval.
