This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Right now it is very hard to use artifact templates in context of modules. Unfortunately premium templates like Automotive Compliance template depend heavily on this mechanism.
Currently in most cases the user is not asked or assisted to create artifacts in context of modules prefilled by an artifact template.
So the scenario looks like this:
- I have an existing module with type "Software Requirements Module"
- Inside the Software Requirements Module I want to create a "Software Requirement" and the AC template provides me a template which should always be used to fill such a software requirement.
Possiblities:
1) Use "Create" button at top left. "Create" -> "Software Requirement"
--> I do not get a template selection dialog, just an empty artifact is created
2) Use "Strg + Enter" at an existing Software Requirement (or "Insert new Artifact" -> "After")
--> I do not get a template selection dialog, just an empty artifact is created
3) Use "Insert new Artifact" -> "Insert other artifact type after..."
--> I get the dialog and can select a template
So it seems that only the least intuitive solution ("Use 'insert *other* artifact type after' to create an artefact of the *same* type and select the template") gets me to my wanted behavior that the artifact template can be applied.
Please consider improving the behavior to support a requirements process where artifact templates are necessary.
