Limit the Read capability of the ELM applications within a Project Area

NNPP as a customer would like to enhance the visibility and access control on Finer Grain Components.  In other words, limit the Read capability of the ELM applications within a Project Area.

1. Improve Usability and Navigation in the Application “Home Button”.  ( For large organizations, this can be an order of magnitude for the list of project areas.)

2. Reduce the overhead of Project Area Management initial setup and ongoing support.  This is especially important in organizations deployment scrum teams.  Moving resources around from Project Areas to Project Areas to leverage resources and increase delivery time.

3. Reduce the complexity of organizations working together in the Prime Contractor and Subcontractor workspace configuration. Reduce the need to constantly keep adding and removing resources to a Project Area to meet the “need to know” and “security compliance” requirements.

4. Reduce the complexity of components and project areas decomposition.  Furthermore, this will enhance configuration management control in Global Configuration Management.
