This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

It is common for users to log in to report builder for long periods of time, and timeout during work. For users of Jazz Authorization Server it is currently not possible to set session timeout settings to increase productivity on non-JAF applications such as JRS. Time out occurs after two hours regardless of what users are doing.
Support for this has already been added for JAF applications (JTS/CCM/QM/RM/DCC/RELM/PUB/GC) and is documented here:
Configuring authentication session timeout https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/elm/7.0.2?topic=servers-configuring-authentication-session-timeout
A typical scenario might be like this:
1. Log in to Report Builder and get redirected to the backend SAML login dialog. Login.
2. Do stuff in Report Builder for 2 hours.
3. After two hours nothing happens in Report Builder to indicate time out. But if the user refreshes the browser window, this causes the ELM login dialog to be displayed instead of Report Builder in the case of time out. (Otherwise Report Builder is shown normally.) If the user does an operation after two hours like click on a report in Report Builder without refreshing the window it will also redirect to the log in dialog.
Note: The same lack of support is also true of LQE or LDX, but there is less need for this, as it is mostly just used for administration.
