This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello Olivia,
I understand the need here, but there are a few reasons we don't provide tools like this.
We consider our DB of emission factors to be IBM's IP, and we don't want to offer tools to allow users to extract full lists of emission factors.
Our suggested approach is to configure account styles and load data first. Once there is data in the accounts, the 'Emission and Energy Factors' report will export all factors in use and the 'Monthly Data Summary' report will show how each factor is applied to monthly data. Trying to determine which factors would apply to activity data before loading into Envizi is unnecessary.
If clients / users insist on reviewing factors before loading their data, they are welcome to download the DEFRA, US EPA, etc... factor sets directly from source. We provide links to all these sources in the Envizi Knowledge base here: https://knowledgebase.envizi.com/home/managed-emission-factors. But the best way to know which factors will be assigned to activity data is to load the activity data and review factor assignments (and descriptions of those factors) after the carbon engine has done its work.
thanks
Steve
