Align Published Factor Logic to Calendar Year for AIB, eGrid, Green-e Emission Factor Data Sets

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Currently, the applicable date  period under the published date logic for AIB, eGrid, Green-e emission factors are mid-year.  However, the data within these factor sets are reflective of the attribute mix for a particular calendar year.  IEA and DEFRA factors are also published mid-year, however, the system applies these on a calendar year basis.  Thus, request for AIB, eGrid, and Green-e data sets to also run on a calendar year basis under the published date logic set up which aligns with expectations from external auditors.

    Hello,

Is there any update on this?  I notice that some data sets (for example, AIB and Canada National Factors) are still running mid-year.  We will be engaging with an external auditor shortly and this was a sticking point with achieving assurance last year.  I imagine other clients likely received the same feedback.  Appreciate if this could be addressed in a timely manner.

    Thanks!

Hello - I am following up to see when these factors will be aligned.  I see that Green-e released the latest data set a few weeks ago.

Hi @Guest - I agree with this idea. We will look to realign these factor sets when we load the upcoming publications for market-based emissions.
