Maximo Data Loader: Change user/password for Tomcat server

Login to Maximo Data Loader is defaulted to maxloader/maxloader. Changing to a differrent user/password is not working on the ROHS installation.

Having mutiple Maximo Loader application installed(one for each SME) will open a security hole as anyone can access the application URL and have acccess to the Manage environments via API key, defined in the configuation.

Best approch would be to hook the Maximo Data Loader login to existing MAS or direct connect to Enterprise AD

    Hello Thomas,

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. It appears that the issue with not being able to change the password may be a defect with the current functionality. Please open a case with customer support if you haven't already using the link below to report this problem. I am going to close this request.

    As far as the integration with AD goes, please open a separate Idea for that if you want to continue to track. While the roadmap the next steps on the Loader is not committed, one possible direction is that we align more closely to the MAS UI as an Application under MAS, in which case, the security will be covered by MAS and this should become a non-issue.
