Utilise AI technology to help identify duplicate work orders at the start of the process when creating a work order or service request

Companies like ours all have the same issues around duplication of work orders. The current process is that a user has to add lots of data to a work order before then saving at which time the duplication check kicks in. What would be better would be for the user to create a work order and the first thing that they do is to add the asset or location code, in our world this can be done by scanning a QR code attached to the physical asset. This would then populate the location or asset field, if then the AI could scour the database for other live work orders and present them to the user, the user could then make a decision to proceed or not. This would then save time and effort and also reduce the risk of multiple duplicate work orders.
