Add CPM Schedule action to Work Order Tracking

Work orders with tasks are normally performed serially with Finish Start, sometimes with a lag. Given a Scheduled Start Date is added to the work order, there ought to be a way to calculate the tasks schedule dates using a Work Order action that performs CPM scheduling, the actions should be capable of being run via an Escalation. Currently, the only way to get the scheduled start dates on the tasks is to load the work order into Graphical Scheduling. For users who are using Maximo in a simple way, WOTRACK Assignments or Assignment Manager, or may only be using Graphical Work Week, the use of Graphical Scheduling for this simple step, is too advanced a step for them to take.

In the first instance CPM using a 24 hour clock would be sufficient for many clients, but ideally there should be a calendar on the work order to indicate a working week on which to base the CPM. No backward pass is necessary.

Sorry, that is something we depend over the Graphical View or Optimization side, so that type of logic can run on top of non Graphical application. Please le us know if you have some process that can do it without the data. Thanks.

This would be of great help for certain customers of ours, that aren't mature enough to use the advanced functionality Graphical Scheduling (and in the near future won't be either)
