Maximo Mobile Problem with Barcode scanner in the mobile device-lacking auto fill

When barcode reading icon is clicked the barcode reading view opens correctly. When bar code is visible in the camera the reading gets stopped and the application jumps back to the original place before bar code reading icon was clicked but no result of the reading is available in the field. However the barcode value is getting shown on the Mobile keypad to copy(clipboard). Also tested to filter WO list under My Schedule and to search for material when WO is reported under My Schedule. Testing was done with Android devices.



Expectation here is to get the barcode value auto populated on the respective field upon successful scanning. It’s a common issue with all App modules.

    As per the description this sounds more an issue to be addressed through support other than an enhancement request. Barcode is a separate component, not an option in the existing components to be enabled/disable, that's why the need for code to be mapped to the appropriated input. Feedback eceived require parsing sometimes to multiple attributes.
