Dear IBM,
The context is the communication chain between Rhapsody10, EWM client 703 and EWM 7.0.3.
When a change set in the EWM client is (just) discarded, without the link to the work item being removed, the changes are of course not sent to the stream, but the icon on the change set link within the linked work item indicates that the change set has been delivered, and not discarded.
Imho this is extremely confusing to the users as they are not able to differentiate between delivered and discarded change sets, when looking at a work item. The customer explicitly wants to see the discarded change sets. The work has been done, the effort is spent, but the result was discarded. If the link to the work items is removed (manually or automatically), then the transparency about the work done (although unsuccessful) is lost.
Therefore this can lead to wrong business conclusions and decisions.
As a solution suggestion, can you please provide different change set icon, maybe with a red x instead of the green arrow?
Thanks in advance, best regards, Carsten
