Rhapsody locking of units take time to reflect for other users

Description :

This RFE calls for improvement in Rhapsody reflecting the CM status from the server. The CM status update shall happen more frequently so that latest status is present in Rhapsody.

Usecase:

we are working with EWM model with pessimistic locking turned on. There is a significant time gap for the file lock information to be updated in Rhapsody.

When two users are working on a stream. Lets say userA locks the model. The lock symbol appears in Rhapsody almost immediately. This is fine. However for the userB this information is not reflected, unless userB visits "Repository files" in Eclipse client.

This has to be improved.
