Our team has found that when creating links between RMM model elements and RM or QM artifacts in a configuration in the context of a global configuration, these links are visible in all configurations that contain both objects. For configuration management purposes, we need that link to exist only in the configurations in which we intend for it to exist. We'd like to see that link visibility behavior match that of other changes. Additionally we have noticed that creating these links results in a change set in CCM for every single link created. This makes CM of streams and links more difficult. Our team would like to see the toolset enhanced so that we may manage links the same way that we manage other model or repository content.

Hi,
There is a difference between the management of links in RM & QM.
* Links to RM are stored in RMM/CCM inside a specific stream/configuration. They are not shared between configurations.
* Links to QM are stored in QM inside QM configuration. RMM queries them to provide those links and show them in RMM's UI.
Thus switching RMM configuration will not affect seeing those links. Switching QM configuration will affect the visible QM links.
Is that the case? If there is a different behavior than above, please provide a more detailed explanation of the structure and the actions.
Regards,
Suneel...
