Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Integrity Check should identify modules which can not be opened in Exclusive Edit anymore

Additonamnl function for Database Integrity Check:

Database Integrity Check should be able to check and identifiy the modules which can not be opened in Exclusive Edit.

First identify modules and then make suggestions to make the modules modifiable again:

There are till yet following possible solutions:

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/doors-module-fails-open-exclusive-edit-mode-results-error-unable-open-module-no-such-file-or-directory

and for modules in Shareable Edit Mode if *.dtc file is missing:

As noted in the error, the missing file is sxxxxc.dtc. There is a sxxxxc.dtn file present, and the contents are valid so please use that as a replacement. I.e. rename sxxxxc.dtn to sxxxxxc.dtc. The module can then be opened without error.
