Context: Today, in our company, more and more projects are using DNG, ETM and EWM to manage traceability. As output for our customers, we need to generate documentations thanks to ELO PUB / RPE which will contains requirements, test case, test results, changeset... It will help us to be compliant with standards such as ISO9001 and EN9100. To create this traceability in DNG, we force the users to use context module and not context folder.
Problem: However, by default, when we are creating a link from or to DNG, we are by default on context folder. So our users don't see it and need to rebase manually or by scripts the created links to context module. They are discovering the problem once they want to generate a document and don't see their links. So they contact our support teams to fix the problem and have the feelings that they can't trust the data contained in the platform.
Goal of the idea: Propose an advanced properties to define by default Context Module or Context Folder
Why it is useful ?: For projects working in full ELM ecosystem, the context module selection by default will help to reduce the amount of support request regarding a miss generation of the data. It will also help to reinforce the trust on the data inside the platform.
How should it work ?: In DNG, we should se to true or false an advanced properties to define by the default the good context.
Thank you.
