There is an inconsistency in how DOORS Next Generation records backlinks (incoming links) in its audit history.
Scenario 1: In a non-CM enabled project, where it is associated to some other project in, for example EWM, and where a link is created in EWM to DNG, that link is also stored in DNG, known as a backlink. This causes an update to the audit history of the artifact.
Scenario 2: In a CM enabled project, using Global Configurations, such backlinks are not created in DNG, but rather stored in LDX. This means there is no audit history entry for the creation of such links for DNG artifacts. This is inconsistent. Backlink creation should be recorded in the Audit History regardless of the type of project (CM or non CM enabled)
