Power Report - Partner Functionality Improvements

ISS add value to customers in loading, managing and quality checking customer data and reporting on energy management with valued insight and then acting on those insights to reduce customer energy consumption. Our use of Envizi hinges on our ability to control the reporting to our customers (so we can manage any data quality issues) and presenting a non-manual report that customers can interact with to understand their data where high volumes of data are managed.

The PowerBI reports, as they stand, are providing a poor user experience for our customers.

- The ‘one-time access’ is limiting for the customers where they would like to go back and have a look at the report. Each time they want to view they have to email ISS for it to be re-issued. This dependency means they can’t reference it or show it to colleagues without ISS interaction and they are getting increasingly frustrated at the process. We would like this to be a multiple access link that is valid for 30 days.

- The PowerBI report also does not download well using the ''Export to PDF Function'' with the volume of data we want to present and does not allow customers to be able to be able to export a pagination report containing the data by a selected filter (which is why the PowerBI report was a key selling point)

- We can’t give our customers direct access to system as we then cannot control their view of the data, which may lead to inaccurate conclusions where missing, estimated or incorrect data is presented.

- Our system administrator is the only person currently able to share these reports (giving those who it is shared to editorial rights in line with system admin) which affects continuity, if our system admin is out of the business and the customer requests the report we cannot re-issue.

This would be sovled by having a PowerBi viewer user type, that can be assigned to end customers.
