Consumption Summary Report Requires Additional Differentiating Column(s)

In its current format, the Consumption Summary Report provides the following columns (calculated numeric fields in italics).

  • Location
  • Start_Period (same value for all rows)
  • End_Period (same value for all rows)
  • Account_L1
  • Data Type
  • Units
  • In
  • Units / Day
  • CO2e

The problem is that multiple rows in the report satisfy all of the criteria fields (i.e., the non-numeric non-calculated fields).  There is no way to differentiate between these matching rows.  Therefore, it is impossible for the user to say what any individual row signifies.  It may be that they refer to different meters or accounts, but it may also be that different rows represent different months within the time span.

There is no way to tell, based solely on what is presented in the report.  This uncertainty renders the report effectively useless.

Please review the contents of this report, and determine what columns need to be added in order that each row is sufficiently qualified.
