Sometime new data comes in and your baseline changes, but you still want to have a target that represents a relative imporvement from the status quo. Setting absolute target values does not give this flexibility and means all targets must be reset any time the baseline is modified. It would be better if they can set a relative goal based on a percentage, i.e. a 10% reduction in GHG emissions.

Envizi's targets module is a target setting and tracking module only, which does not support dynamic targets. Percentage reductions from a baseline is a modelling exercise that requires the use of a complementary tool like planning analytics.
It's possible we may be able to provide better integration with PA in the future to facilitate a simpler/faster approach to turning % reductions into target values for use in Envizi.
This would be extremely usefull and would be much better aligned with Science Based Targets % reduction from a baseline.
Also, being in a company with high M&A activity where baseline restatements happen annually, this would reduce the recalculation burden.
