We have no plans to add the Notes to the grid. There could be n number of Notes added against a Location so we can't include a large list of Notes in the grid for each Location. The Locations grid would become unusable if each row included a list of all Notes for that row. You can see that there are notes against a Location by using the No. of Notes column which is the trigger to open up the preview panel and view the related Notes. thanks
Hi, Yes I am aware of clicking to view the notes. It would be much more beneficial to be able to see the notes from the grid view. This way, there is much less chance of missing this important note of information regarding the location.
I did point out that feature in the Support case that led to this Aha. The customer replied: "I was aware of clicking the preview panel and then clicking notes. I really would like to be able to actually see what the note actually says at the grid view."
All notes attached to a Location are visible from the preview panel. When you are on the Locations grid or at a Location Summary page, you can open the right hand preview panel by clicking on the icon below the main header on the right. You will then see a section for Notes which you can open and see all the notes attached to the selected Location. Please see attached example. This feature is available at all entities which support notes eg. Groups, Locations, Accounts.
