I'd like the option to exclude Closed locations from report templates. We track our closed locations in Envizi and do not delete once they are closed to have access to historical data. When i run a Report such as the Account Setup and Data Load report for all locations, these locations are always included. I do not want to create a Group to exlude these locations as I don't want to always have to update it when our portfolio changes. I just want to exclude locations we have marked as Closed. We have 45 closed locations, so Filter By #3 is not helpful.

Hi Sara,
Thanks for clarifying.
I'll flag this for future consideration to feed into enhancements of these template reports in future.
Hi Mark,
I'd like to exclude closed/inactive locations from populating in the reports when i run them. The Filter by #1 doesn't seem to solve the issue as it may exclude new accounts without records that we would like to add records into.
Hi Sara,
Thanks for your suggestion.
To clarify my understanding, you are trying to run the report template to include locations/accounts that are active so you can either update the records that are there, or use them as context to create new records for upload. Is this correct?
If this is the case, you can use the existing filters that are there and ensure that you select,
Filter by #1 = 'Export selected locations with existing records only'
Filter by #3 = 'Start period and end period'
Starting with
Ending with
Assuming your data is up to date for instance as of October last year, you could run the report to show you all locations/accounts that have data in the period of October. It will naturally exclude any Accounts that are closed prior to this as they will not have any data present.
Please confirm if this satisfies your requirement.
