We agree that it is a good idea to hide closed locations. When it comes time to design this feature will need to consider multiple criteria around what is considered a closed location as using the closed on date may not be sufficient as there could be accounts still receiving data for example.
Florinda please note that showing/hiding closed accounts is a feature of the Accounts grid not a feature of the the organization hierarchy. In the orgabization hierarchy we have a branch for closed accounts and a branch for open accounts. We may also look at having a toggle in the Locations grid to show/hide closed locations like we do for accounts.
Its likely that when we do design this feature that it would be an organization preference whether to include closed locations or not in the organiztion hierarchy.
Definitely agree with the need for this one. It should mimic the accounts functionality i.e.; the user can select hide closed locations.
