While we are still finalising our designs for implementing a more granular locking feature, we have just released a feature that would achieve a very similar outcome. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/envizi-esg-suite?topic=managing-approving-account-data
Account data approvals will allow you to lock account data that's already been entered into the system at the record level. You do this by changing the approval status as explained in the documentation linked above. While this doesn't prevent new data from being entered, you can differentiate between approved and unapproved data. So depending on your use case this may meet your immediate requirements.
any update on timing ?
Does my ticket remain open while the update is pending?
Thank you for raising this idea. We are planning on providing more granular data locking options which would include the ability to lock down data at a group level. This work is in discovery and a release timeframe will be provided following this work.
