This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We have just released the account data approvals feature which we believe will address this requirement. Details of the new feature can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/envizi-esg-suite?topic=managing-approving-account-data
For us, this functionality is critical because during an audit, a person changed a data point since this account was not locked, which triggered a non-conformity. Please, when you have more concrete updates on the timelines and how this functionality will work, we would like to be informed.
We are currently working on two initiatives that will help to address this request.
We will be introducing an optional approval status for account records which will allow records to be approved and locked. Changing the status of a record will allow it to be unlocked and modified without unlocking other approved records. This enhancement should be available towards the end of Q2 or early Q3.
A second initiative is in discovery to allow a lockdown date to be set at a more granular such as groups, locations and accounts. This more comprehensive locking enhancement will be delivered in late 2025 or early 2026.
