Tech Note: Retrieve list and map attributes via automation script

It would helpful if there were a Tech Note on the following topic.

(There are existing tech notes that are similar, but they require things like a server restart, which is unnecessarily cumbersome. There are other "tricks" too, like utilizing Same as Object/Attribute in db config, but they don't apply to the majority of use cases.

The main issue with the techniques in the existing tech notes is: we can't easily define what attribute from the table/table-domain will be used when returning the value to the field.)


Whereas the following steps are much more effective, and let us define the attribute that is returned:

Create an automation script with an attribute launch point (event=Retrieve List). The script maps the attributes from the source object to the child object.
