The Maximo Visual Inspection (MVI) application is a distinctive component of our asset management suite, which has been instrumental in our sales success. We have developed a demo environment with various use cases to aid IBMers, and business partners in demonstrating MVI capabilities and winning deals. However, the IBM CISO team has imposed restrictions on the use of customer data in our demo environment, as it is not designed to handle such data securely. We currently use IBM TechZone for demonstrations, but we need features and functionalities in MVI that can prevent the loading of customer data.
Comments from David Boggs [Enablement Team]
Customer/Client Perspective: The ability to provide access controls for users is important such as to granting CRUD operations to specific users as it enhances the security requirements an organization may need to meet for data protection. User should only have the minimum privileges necessary to complete a task. I.e., a quality control check done by a 3rd party to validate the model would require execute privileges but not creation of the model. This is one example and we will be happy to share additional insights in a meeting if needed.

Balaji: This looks like 2 parts. First is the usage of customer data in Techzone, which I believe you are working. Second is the data available for MVI demos. We will keep this as you owning.
update: The enablement team is working on two short/long-term solutions for this issue. The SRE team plans to provide an environment for the short term for MVI POC with customer data [target - June'23] , and the TechZone team is looking to accelerate their environment provisioning that can allow customer data.
